All my amaryllis bulbs are in pots. Some of the bulbs are fairly large. Can I cut them in half & still expect them to bloom?

You can't cut the bulbs in half but you can separate the bulbs from the offset or smaller bulbs that usually form around the parent bulb. Each bulb already contains the leaves and flowers for the next blooming cycle. Cutting a bulb in half will destroy the stored plant parts.
