I live in Phoenix and last year I planted a bouganvilla. It hasn't grown very much, leaves are shades of light greens. (actually pretty) It gets a 1/2 day of sun. How much water in the ground? When should I water my in ground gardenias,& how to get larger flowers? When should Miracle grow be applied to veggies and flowers? Thx in advance Beverly

Bougainvilleas grow best in full sunshine and they love heat. Yours should have bloomed all summer long. I'd move it to a sunnier spot and water it deeply twice a week in the summertime; once a week in the cooler months. The shades of green in the leaves indicate your bougainvillea needs a little iron. Use Ironite in amounts as recommended on the label. Prune your bougainvillea back to encourage healthy new growth. Gardeninas like moist but well draining soil. Some varieties develop lots of small flowers and others develop fewer, but larger flowers. You can't really change the size of the flowers because it's genetic but you can provide adequate water, sunshine and ferilizer so your gardenia can be as healthy as possible. You can feed your veggie garden every 4-6 weeks. Miracle Gro is just fine.
