How do I prrepare for fall? Do I cut back now, leave alone or cut back in the spring? |
Wait until frost kills back the tops and then cut them down to ground level. Allowing frost to kill the vines will signal the roots that it's time for dormancy. Pruning prior to frost will encourage new growth, which will be killed back with the first frost. I'd wait until the vines are dead and then prune them down. Good luck with your garden! |
