| I just bought carnations. Their buds start to droop. I erroneously put acid fertilizer on it. How can I neutralize the acidity to alkaline with natural bhousehold hehousenaturally. Any I am transplanting my plants from old small pots to new larger pots. In one pot, I found several worms in it. Is it still ok to put those worms on the larger new pots. Or should I pick and destroy them? Thank yo |
| Since you are transplanting the carnations you can simply knock off most of the old potting soil and replant them in fresh potting soil to remove much of the acid fertilizer. A little acidity won't harm them at all. Expect them to droop a bit until they adjust to their new homes. If the worms are earthworms or red wigglers, you can transplant them without problem. If they are short and fat they are grubs and should be destroyed. |
