Sweet corn is ready to harvest when it reaches the "milk stage"; the only way to tell is to open part of the husk and test a few kernels with your finger nail. Press with your nail, and if a milky looking juice squirts out it is ready. Silver Queen is considered a later variety and averages 92 days, but this is just a guide -- you still need to check it. Enjoy your corn!
