I planted some Hibiscus plants in my backyard about 3 months ago. They are doing fine except now I am noticing that the leaves are being eaten. Throughout the leaves they holes. I have tried to check for any insects but I can't seem to find any. The only thing I was able to find were snails in and around the soil. Can this be the culprit? If so, how do I get rid of them? Thank You. |
Slugs and snails can feed on hibiscus leaves and flowers. They feed at night so if you cannot find any other pests on your hibiscus, they may be the culprits. You can control them with a bait. I use Sluggo and it works extremely well in my garden. Best wishes with your hibiscus! |
