my blueberry bush is less than 1 year old and is in a container,I would like to transfer it in ground, when should i transplant it and should I have 2 bushes to help produce berrys faster THANKS |
You can transplant your blueberry into your garden now. Blueberries like acidic soils so mix some peatmoss into the soil when you plant. The best bet for blueberries is to have different varieties of blueberries within 100 feet, so bees can travel and cross pollinate. Keep your plant tag so choose a second, different cultivar to plant near your original bush. Hope you have a great harvest. |
