Our 12 yr old tree has suddenly developed a problem with sap oozing from some branches and other branches have areas that are peeling away with minute holes into the branch. Looks like beetles may have taken over. What is it and is there anything I can do? I have photos that I can e-mail.

Things don't sound good for your peach tree! We can't accept photos through this forum but I found a university publication with photos and descriptions of beetles and borers that favor peach trees: http://www.canr.msu.edu/vanbur...

You might also want to contact your local cooperative extension office for suggestions on controls. Good luck with your peach tree!
