I have had my shrub about 3 months. It has turned brown and losing all leaves. It was out side with direct sun abiut 6 hrs a day. I now have it on a cover porch with indirect sun for about 3 hrs a day to try to save it. Any advice?

Sounds like your eugenia is showing signs of sunscald. These plants normally lose about 30 per cent of their leaves in the fall and then green up again. With any luck yours will begin to show new growth in a few weeks. It should be happy on your covered porch until it recovers. If you'd like you can prune it back to encourage healthy new growth. As long as you keep it watered it should recover. Hope it's soon!
