There are a huge number of flowering plants in the genus Chrysanthemum, but I assume you're thinking of the ones that are usually for sale in the fall at stores throughout the eastern U.S., so your "discussion" will end in a draw. You can get seed for 'Autumn Glory' mixed colors from Stokes Seeds. This is actually "the first F1 Hybrid cushion mum from seed", according to your catalog. Before the introduction of this variety, these hybrids were propagated only from cuttings. If you're interested in growing these plants from seed, contact Stokes at PO Box 548, Buffalo NY 14240-0548, or call 716/695-6980.
