Fruit trees bear heavier crops if you plant two different varieties for cross pollination. There are all kinds of dwarf or semi-dwarf trees so even in a small garden you should have room for two fruit trees. To make a yard look larger, go with plants that are smaller in stature and plan on using bright and bold colors at the property line. These bright colors will draw your eye across the yard and make it appear larger. Good luck with your landscape.
