Question: I live in a small apartment, but would like to have some hyacinths and tulips for the spring. Since there is no chance for the soil to be cool before I plant the bulbs, should I keep them in the refrigerator to

Answer: Since you're planting in containers, I'd keep the bulbs in the refrigerator until November, then plant them and set the containers outdoors. The cold weather won't bother them. In the late winter/early spring you can begin watering them and they should bloom right on schedule. Enjoy!
