This bush is planted next to a Rose of Sharon and I think they're too close together. I think I need to move the bush and am not sure how to do this healthly. It's been there for two years in full sun but seems to be encroched on. I want to move it to a spot more alone in full sun.

Both fall and spring are good times to dig and transplant landscape trees and shrubs. You'll want to be careful in digging because the roots may be intertwined with those of your rose of sharon. It can be done, though, and now's a good time to do it. Best wishes with your landscape!
