| Most seeds will retain viability for several years if they're stored properly. Place your seeds in an air tight container and store them in a cool, dark location. I put mine in mason jars, screw the lid down tight, and put them on the floor in the back of a closet. Heat and humidity are the biggest enemies of stored seed, hungry critters are next on the list. Keep your seeds safe and they'll be good for 2-3 years. After that the germination rate will be somewhat lower, but a good percentage should sprout for you when you're ready to plant them. |
