If I purchase seeds this year to be planted next year or the year after. Will they still be good? For how long?

Most seeds will retain viability for several years if they're stored properly. Place your seeds in an air tight container and store them in a cool, dark location. I put mine in mason jars, screw the lid down tight, and put them on the floor in the back of a closet. Heat and humidity are the biggest enemies of stored seed, hungry critters are next on the list. Keep your seeds safe and they'll be good for 2-3 years. After that the germination rate will be somewhat lower, but a good percentage should sprout for you when you're ready to plant them.
