I read somewhere, and I think it was on this web page, about starting fall plant seeds in buckets and leaving them on your cold porch over winter. Any suggestions?

If you've collected seeds from the perennials in your garden, this might work, but not all seeds appreciate the cold temperatures of winter. I'd wait until spring to sow your seeds, just to make sure they don't suffer from the cold weather. Best wishes with your seed sowing project!
