LAST YEAR I PLANTED (2) 10' CREPE MRYTLES..LAST FALL THEY BOTH BLOOMED. THIS YEAR I NEITHER ONE BLOOMED AND THE BARK IS SHEDDING..THE TREE IS ALIVE AND HAS NEW GROWTH...WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY TREE

There is nothing wrong with your tree. Crapes shed their bark just before blooming. It peels off in long strips very much like crepe paper. But the name comes from the flower because the petals appear like crepe paper.

These trees bloom on new growth of the year, typically in the spring so I think your trees took some time off because they bloomed so late last year. Next spring prune them back to encourage new (hopefully flowering) growth.
