The Q&A Archives: peony

Question: My peony plant this year had most of the leafs turn black what caused this?

Answer: A fungus can cause this and the best control is to remove all the affected leaves and stems. You can simply cut the plant all the way down to ground level right now. Next spring the stems and foliage should be healthy. Enjoy your garden!
