I've got pocket gophers. They destroy my new seedling fruit trees so fast they can't get a good start. I've tried about everything (more than 400 words can express), but they still persist. Got any ideas besides broken glass, poison (effective but illegal now), oyster shell, buzzing vibrators, & house cats. Larry |
I wish there were an easy solution, but trapping or poisons are about your only real methods of control. I checked with WSU cooperative extension and they have a publication, but there's a charge to download. So, I went to the UC Davis website and found a publication with lots of information, most of which parallels WSU's recommendations. So, here's the UC Davis website: http://www.ipm.ucdavis.edu/PMG... Hope you find the information helpful! |
