I just collected seeds from a friend's four-o'clock-plants. Could I just plant them in the ground now or should I wait till Spring and start indoors?

Four-o'clocks (Mirabilis jalapa, also called Marvel of Peru) are best started by direct planting in the soil where they are to grow; plant the seeds outside in late spring after frost and when the soil is warm. They need full sun to grow and flower at their best. Enjoy your plants!
