I have large green tomatoes. As they ripen so many are spoiled on the bottom of the tomato. What is causing this.? It seems worse than it ever has been. |
Sounds like a classic case of blossom end rot, especially if the spot is dark brown and leathery. This problem is due to a calcium deficiency, often brought on by an uneven water supply. Try to keep the soil evenly moist by using a mulch and watering when needed. |
