While I can't think of any that will bloom for that entire time, here are some long-blooming late season perennials you might consider: daylilies, black-eyed susans, purple cone flowers, Russian sage, garden phlox, malva, asters, goldenrod, Joe-Pye weed, boltonia and Japanese anemones. Plants are available at most larger nurseries or by mail order from perennials specialists such as Bluestone Perennials, 7211 Middle Ridge Rd., Madison OH 44057 tel. 800 852-5243 or Carroll Gardens, 444 East Main St., Westminster, MD 21157 tel. 800-638-6334.
