I have a very good harvest of vine string beans. I have one good picking to get yet, can I plant another batch next week in the same area?

You can plant beans up until about 60 days before the last expected fall frost, so yes, you can still plant especially since it sounds like yours are healthy. (Crop rotation for beans is generally suggested for every two years at the longest.) Enjoy your crop!
