Can safflower be grown in the home garden? I just love the flower that blooms.

Yes. Safflower (Carthamus tinctorius) can be grown in the home garden. It is an annual and can be planted in early spring; plant it directly in the garden as it can be difficult to transplant. Enjoy your flowers!
