Some seeds are so similar in appearance that you may have difficulty telling them apart. There is a book called "Seeds of Woody Plants in the United States" that has line drawings of various seeds. The book is published by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (Agriculture Handbook # 450) ISBN# 73-600133. Write to the Superintendent of Documents, U.S. Government Printing Office, Washington, D.C. 20402 for pricing information.
