I bought a pack of mixed hot pepper seeds. One of them is Anaheim tmr. I can't find any info about this pepper... what can you tell me? is it hot? how hot? when should it be harvested? green? or does it turn red?

What a fun mystery! Anaheims are a group of peppers, also sometimes called New Mexico peppers. They are long and thin, anywhere from 4 inches to maybe a foot long, depending on the variety. The "tmr" designation refers to disease reistance, so that's probably a good thing. As a group, these peppers are considered fairly mild and are considered good for drying and can even be strung. They can be harvested at the mature green stage or at the mature "red" stage, although some turn yellow rather than red! Unfortunately, since these are nameless Anaheims, you are just going to have to wait and see how these behave. Enjoy!
