Question: I'm looking for a bordering plant that blooms and that is an annual. My house is in central FL so we do get an occasional frost; my house faces west. To give you an idea, I planted morning glory from seed and got a couple of blooms, I planted impatiens and unless I water them daily they die. I need something in-between, Help! Answer: Some nice annuals for sunny Florida are portulaca, petunia, verbena, lantana and salvia. Check out the selection at local nurseries for the best varieties for your area.
