Burpee does not carry the American Sweetgum (Liquidambar styraciflua). This tree can be somewhat difficult to transplant and slow to establish so it is best purchased balled and burlapped for planting in the spring. To be honest, the tree may not be hardy in your northern location, which may limit its availability. A larger nursery in your area might stock them, or if you ask now, your favorite nursery might be willing to order one for you for to plant next spring if they think it will be hardy in your particular microclimate.
