| My mother lives in an historic home in Southern Maryland which has several American Boxwoods 15+ high. These Box are hampering the view of the water from her house and probably not receiving proper light, etc. due to their size. They have been sheared yearly, but only about 3 to 4 inches. How drastically can they be pruned? If this can be done, can you advise when and how? Thanks so much. She has contacted Extension Services, universities, and even Williamsburg, but to no avail. |
