I am a novice gardener and would love to participate in seed swapping but I am unsure how to gather seeds from my plants. Can you help?

Seed saving and swapping can be a lot of fun. The first thing is to select the best plants and take the seeds from them. Timing is important; the seeds need to be mature when you collect them so you need to keep a close eye on the plants. Storage is also important; seeds must be clean, dry and pest free. As a rule, they will do best at a constant temperature (many people keep them in an airtight container in the refrigerator). Finally, they must be labeled. Enjoy your seeds!
