I am trying to locate more information on the vegetable/herb Corchorus olitorius which is also called Bush Okra, Egyptian Spinach or Jute/Jews Mallow. (Its eaten like spinach and it is sold frozen in speciality stores.) I would like to add this to my garden and am searching for the the seeds. Any idea on how I can obtain the seeds or plants here in the US?

I found it! J.L. Hudson's Ethnobotanical Catalog comes through! To request a catalog, send $1.00 to J.L. Hudson, Seedsman, PO Box 1058, Redwood City, CA 94064 (sorry, no phone number). Enjoy!
