Answer: It's discouraging when you have repeated problems with a favorite crop! Try this: sprout the beans on paper towels before planting. Soak the beans for an hour or two in room-temperature water. Then place them on damp paper towels and put the towel in a plastic bag in a warm spot shaded from light. Keep the bag open for air circulation, and mist it occasionaly to keep it moist. They should sprout within a few days. Then, plant them in a rasied bed of rich garden soil. Raising the bed helps drainage, and reduces the chance of rot. Your other question has been forwarded to customer service for them to answer. Best of luck!
