I want to get a nice selection of bulbs for my new garden. However I would like to mix the early spring thru fall bulbs so that my garden will have continuous blooms. The area is sun to part sun. What mixes do you recommend? P.S. I live in the Midwest climate (Chicago)

For early color, you might try, in approximate order of appearance: snowdrops, crocus, daffodil, tulip, hyacinth, and Dutch iris, which will take you from early to late spring. Asiatic lilies bloom June-July; Trumpet and oriental lilies bloom July-August. Tender, spring-planted/summer flowering bulbs include gladiolus, calla lily, and dahlia.
