Dipladenia (Mandevilla) makes an excellent houseplant, if you have room for it to climb (it can reach 10 feet!). If you can pinch it back after it has finished flowering and just keep it indoors over the winter months. Either way, your Mandevilla will thrive indoors in regular household temperatures, with bright light (but not direct sunshine). Water sparingly in winter and more frequently in spring, just before you take the plant back outdoors.
