The Q&A Archives: Heirloom Seeds

Question: Your preview catalog seems to be heavily slanted toward hybrid seeds (which can not be regrown the next year from preserved seeds). Do you market non-hybrid seeds (specifically grains and legumes), or know of a company that does? I am not interested in the reason "why not" if you don't, as I think I know (you want to sell new seeds next year). But I would appreciate referal to non-hybrid sources, if possible. Thank you. Answer: Burpee does have an Heirloom catalog which is also available. Another company that specializes in heirlooms is: Seeds of Change P.O. Box 15700 Santa Fe, NM 87506 888-762-7333.
