The Q&A Archives: Lisianthus

Question: Love the 97 catalog! Are the Lisianthus (blue rose and prairie mix)listed on Page 33 annuals or perennials? The catalog doesn't say. I'm planning my gardens and want to place an order soon.Thanks. P.S. If an item is out-of-stock, do you substitute on orders? I sincerely hope not because once I make a gardening plan I like to stick to it exactly. Kristin Eliot, ME

Answer: Lisianthus are annuals in your area. They will flower in 3-4 months from seeding and make great cut flowers- lasting for up to 2 weeks in water..
