I ordered tulip bulbs this year and planted them this fall. I ordered too many and now have 100 extra bulbs and no where to plant them. I may move next summer (military move) and would like to have the bulbs for my new location next fall. How can I preserve the tulip bulbs for next fall?

Rather than attempt to store them under controlled conditions for that length of time, you might do better to plant them, allow them to bloom and mature next spring, then dig them after they return to dormancy. At that point, store them relatively cool and dry and replant the following fall. Good luck with your move!
