| A good, natural option for caterpillar control is a product containing B.t. (Bacillus thuringiensis). It is sold in numerous brand names including: Dipel, Thuricide, Ortho BioWorm Killer, MVP Caterpillar Killer, and many more. Follow the label for application instructions. More than one application is usually needed as it breaks down rather quickly in the environment and new caterpillars that hatch a few days after you make an application will not be affected.
