We have several very high cut banks and have already started English ivy growing on these - we have 44 acres so I'm not worried about it getting too invasive. I am wanting to know if English ivy seed is available anywhere and if you could sow it in the ground - could it be done in the fall?

Seeds for English Ivy are available from Shamrock Gardens Nursery, 2698 Wild River Dr., Roseburg, OR 97470. Phone (541) 496-3045. Spring is the best time to sow the seeds. Warmer soil temperatures will encourage germination, and spring rains will help the seedlings become established.
