I'm looking for muscadine grape vines to plant this fall. Do you carry these? I would like 'Bronze Fry' or 'Magnolia'. Do I need a male and female of the same variety or can I mix two varieties?

Burpee doesn't offer muscadine grapes, but Stark Bro's Nursery (PO Box 10, Louisiana, MO 63353, ph# 800/325-4180) does have 'Fry' and 'Cowart'. 'Cowart' can pollinate 'Fry', and 'Cowart' is self-fruitful. You may be able to find more of a selection of muscadines locally. Be sure to ask the supplier if the varieties are self-fruitful or if they require a pollinator vine. Enjoy!
