I want to know what I can plant in my garden to keep mosquitoes away while I'm working there. It's my veggie garden that I have the most trouble in. Can I plant garlic, or one of those mosquito plants?

The citrus scented geraniums are popular for keeping mosquitoes at bay. As you're working in your garden you can crush a few leaves, which will release the citrusy odor that mosquitoes stay away from. Geraniums love growing in sunny spots, so interplanting some with your veggies will make the plants happy, and may protect you from those biting mosquitoes.
