What to Do With Old Fruit Trees? - Knowledgebase Question

We have just bought of small farm in the southwestern tip of NC. There are some very old fruit trees in very bad shape, would it be better to replace these trees or is there something that can be done to restore them.

useful but be sparing as the pruning and weed control will be quite invigorating on its own.
