I just purchased a indoor Kentia palm for a large corner in my home. I know fairly little about caring for indoor plants. I am not even sure if this plant is suitable. What is the best possible way to care for this new plant?

Kentia Palm, also known as Paradise Palm, is a fast-growing palm that thrives in low light conditions. During the winter months, keep the soil only slightly moist. In the summer, water more frequently, and make sure there are adequate drainage holes in the container; palms don't like wet feet. Avoid cold drafts, and mist the leaves occasionally to overcome the effects of dry, heated air during the winter months. Your Kentia will be happiest in average household temperatures during the day, and about 60F degrees at night. Other than the above, your palm is highly adaptable and should be attractive for many years.
