I have a Peace Lily in my living room that once had a lovely white flower extending from the middle of the plant. Recently, I foolishly removed the cone in the middle of the flower thinking it would regenerate itself and make the flower white again. Yet while the flower was only brown on the tip before I removed the cone, the dark blemish is now spreading. What can I do to make the flower white again, and will the cone return? |
Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do for this particular flower. It is fading and that is normal. Simply remove it when it is too ugly to look at any more. Your plant sounds happy and healthy, so it should produce more blooms over time. |
