| The Banyan tree is Ficus indica, also known as the East Indian Fig tree. It grows best in USDA zone 10, where the average winter low temperatures are 30F - 40F degrees. Your region may be a little too cold for the Banyan, but if you have a protected place, you might give it a try. |
