We have two red twig dogwood bushes. When do we prune them? Now? Spring?

Cornus stolonifera is the botanical name of your Redtwig Dogwood. These are rapid growers, and can be kept in shape with annual spring pruning. If the shrubs have been in the ground for a few years and you want to control the size, you can also do some root pruning. Pruning usually signals a plant to put out new growth, so wait until the weather warms in the spring and do your pruning then.
