| Hemerocallis do seem to need some chilling but the length of time is extremely variable. I have had good luck wrapping them in a barely damp paper towe or handfull of milled peat moss, putting it in a closed clear glass jar or zipper plastic bag and setting it in the refrigerator. After about two weeks, check every few days for signs of life, some may take six weeks and possibly even longer. Pot immediately and return the rest to the fridge. (You could also simply plant them in the garden but expect greatly reduced germination.) Good luck with your seeds! |
