The Q&A Archives: Source for Perilla Fruescens Seed

Question: I am looking for some Perilla frutescens seeds or plants. This is a plant that I ate in Korea when I was visiting there last year, and it is delicious. Since Korea has temperate climate like Nebraska, I was looking for some seeds or seedlings to plant at my house here. Do you have access to any or know where I can find any? Thank you very much for your time and effort in this matter. Gregg Hutchison Lincoln, NE

Answer: Nichols Garden Nursery, 1190 No Pacific Highway, Albany, OR 97321 (541-928-9280) carries seeds of Perilla frutescens.
