| We bought some gorgeous purple and white lysianthas at our local farmer's market last week. They told us these were summer flowers so they are out of season now. Can we grow these fairly easily in South Florida? |
| Lysianthus will grow well in you climate. You may need to do some soil adjusting however. These flowers prefer a heavier soil in the clay-loam range. If you soil is sandy, addition of lots of compost may do the trick in improving the water and nutrient holding capacity of the soil. Plant them in an area with plenty of sunlight.
