I would like to start winter gardening starting in Sept. and going thru the spring. I would like to know the vegetables
that would work well in my zone and the plant cycle that would go with the vegetable. Is their a good book on winter cold frame growing? We would like to have salads, carrots, etc. Any input would be great.

A great book for you would be "The New Organic Grower's Four Season Harvest", by Eliot Coleman (Chelsea Green, 1992).

Also, the following are Web sites for related National Gardening magazine articles; you may find these helpful.
