I have some Belamcanda seeds that I have sown in trays and I am not getting any action out of them for three weeks now. I just moved them under a heating coil and am hoping that may help. Do you have any tips to get them to germinate?

Belamcanda may take up to two months to germinate. They are fairly forgiving in temperature, germinating anywhere from 60-86 degrees F.

They germinate best when pre-chilled for 7 days. To do this soak seeds for a few hours. Then drain and place on a moist paper towel in a ziplock bag in the refrigerator for a week or so. Check every 3 days to make sure it is still moist but not soggy. Then remove and plant seed.

Good luck with your Belamcanda!
