I have some Belamcanda seeds that I have sown in trays and I am not getting any action out of them for three weeks now. I just moved them under a heating coil and am hoping that may help. Do you have any tips to get them to germinate? |
Belamcanda may take up to two months to germinate. They are fairly forgiving in temperature, germinating anywhere from 60-86 degrees F. They germinate best when pre-chilled for 7 days. To do this soak seeds for a few hours. Then drain and place on a moist paper towel in a ziplock bag in the refrigerator for a week or so. Check every 3 days to make sure it is still moist but not soggy. Then remove and plant seed. Good luck with your Belamcanda! |
