Answer: Belamcanda may take up to two months to germinate. They are fairly forgiving in temperature, germinating anywhere from 60-86 degrees F.
They germinate best when pre-chilled for 7 days. To do this soak seeds for a few hours. Then drain and place on a moist paper towel in a ziplock bag in the refrigerator for a week or so. Check every 3 days to make sure it is still moist but not soggy. Then remove and plant seed.
